HomeGet Dawson Creek Green was a Hill Computing venture led by Shauna Hill, funded in whole or in part by the Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement. Sponsors/partners included Encana, the City of Dawson Creek, and the Northern Environmental Action Team (NEAT). The program ran from September 2009 to July 2010, offering 18 Employment Insurance eligible participants an opportunity to learn new skills and gain work experience. The focus of the program was to get people thinking and speaking about energy use and conservation. The participants completed 166 Energy Efficiency Assessments in Dawson Creek. Results were documented and compared to show each home owner the results of their effort.
